There is still no word as to where Battie might be. The positive hope is that she is in someone's home playing with their children, and that she is loved and well cared for, and an inside cat now. I'm not giving up hope for Battie coming home, I don't work that way. But absence does make the heart grow fonder.
I dedicate this to CMHL and The Bat. Anyone missing a cat, or anyone else will be able to relate as well. I think that Open Grove Claudia may be right about acts of kindness.

Aw, that's just so lovely. And Harrods selling lion cubs? Bastards.
Puss
Hi Puss, well said, and thank you.
Monty,
Hope you're doing well. Btw, I was trying to say that *I* am voting on the issues this November.
Love the video. That animal does indeed have a mind. The lion, too!
Hi M@, I was trying for irony when I said that. Of course you are voting on the issues, it seems clear by your arguments. You are once of the few who is actually arguing issues in this election. Well done. I wonder who the lion would pick?
Gosh, you made me cry. What a sweet and wonderful thing. Thanks for sharing the vid. I wrote about Dr. Pausch today.
((hug))
Thank you CEO. you are a good egg.
I haven't given up hope on Battie either. The posters & flyers haven't had any success. I really think that some nice family with little kids has her in their house.
We are about 100 miles from home right now, and saw a black cat that looked just like Bat today. I broke my heart to see & hear my oldest get out of the car and start whistling and calling her, then realized it wasn't her.
such a hard thing.
That's so cool.
I'm all for Battie coming home, too.
{{{O.G.}}}
I read your blog today, and I'm with you. Follow your bliss. I'm having positive thoughts about Battie for the same reason, as well as not giving up. You're a very positive influence.
HI CMHL, I am so sorry your oldest is having such a bad time. I'm glad you're his Mom, he couldn't do better.
Tiff, you are soooooo right, as usual! You must come visit.
oh, that video just killed me!!
Come on, Battie, it's time to go home!!
Awwwwwwwwwww.......
Sheeeeshhhh....now I need kleenex.
*sending out more positive thoughts for the kitty...and for the kitty's humans*
And I soooooooo hope you're feeling better.
<-- just checkin' up on you
(kinda like that....I'm sure you'll forgive me for it...LOL)
Hope you are doing better!
Hi Claudia, I will never give up on Battie coming home. I go to the local shelter every week and donate money in her name, and I pray. I cry, but I never give up.
Hi Mel, I still read you daily, I just don't always have the time to sit and think of a good comment. You're important to me.
Hi NoR, I can feel it coming soon. Really.
This is one of my favorite videos. I have it saved about four times so I won't lose it since someone sent it to me awhile back.
I hope your Battie comes home soon. Don't give up hope. You know she will if she can.
Hi Susan, I agree that it is an amazing video. Now I know where to come if I can't find any of my copies of the video. No good news about Battie, yet. But never fear, there's always tomorrow.
Oh my....that made my hair stand on end & brought tears to my cheeks. How beautiful...
May Battie be blessed & find herself where she is needed right now. Slightly, but not completely OT, I remember when my brother was losing his vision & he found 'Lucky' ten miles into the woods on the side of a mountain. She jumped in his truck & only came out to eat and potty. After three nights, he brought her home. Soon he discovered that despite being quite dirty and thin, she was well-trained & showed medical evidence of being taken care of quite well. He never found her original owners & I just hope that they know that she meant the world to Curt & he, to her.
Should Battie not return, just keep on believing...because all the good stuff is probably true.
P&L...
Hi SLB, color me a true believer. I make a donation in Battie's name at the local animal shelter periodically, and I have come to accept that Battie is living with another loving family and protecting their children in this best of all possible worlds.
