For Pam and Heather

I have actually been a little out of sorts lately, and it seems to be going around. So, to cheer myself up, I normally turn to Beethoven and Mel, and Hearts and Glamourpuss, not to mention Open Grove Claudia. Today, I have that deep existential thing that gnaws down deep, so I hauled out some more of the big guns, John Denver and also the Cactus Cuties.

John Denver, the discoverer of Colorado, actually does two songs on here, the first makes me realize that as long as I'm still alive, and responsible for myself, I can make it happen. Mel and Puss and Claudia and Sartre et al. Yup, I read them all. Sweet Surrender. My friend Pam, who y'all don't know thinks no one would ever miss her. Except me. She's overdue here for pizza. Denver does his "Country Roads" for my buddy Heather who is out of sorts for the moment.

Mel, my buddy, friend, pal often speaks about faith and letting yourself believe. The Cactus Cuties say the same thing here. By the way, the tallest one, the oldest, had a terrible car accident and broke her neck, and sang the whole time she was rehabilitating.

So I'm saying to myself that it's time to get off my dead ass and get moving because we never know how much time we have left on top of this green Earth, and I might as well make the best of it while I'm here. Have a good day, I'll write when I can. Out of the funk and let's get to work.

I really hope you feel better. It's good you're making the decision to try to.

It seems to be going around. My poor doorman friend is depressed - hasn't eaten in 3 days. Lordy...

Hi NoR, I have been upset by clients in the market. I'm just getting tired of this crisis and being in crisis mode. I wanna laugh more.

I'm so sorry Monty. {{Hug}} Just remember, it's not your fault, and you're a very good guy :) I hope some of your clients tell you that, at least one a day.

My sister was a huge John Denver fan. We all were I guess. I remember watching his outdoor in the bubble concert/special on tv as a kid. My fav song is Grandma's Feather Bed. I think. My sis had all his albums...so many songs. I can't remember them all.

Here's to better days tomorrow {Hug}
I'm thinking of you.

Hi Carrie, it's OK, I can handle it. It just gets tiring.

These are depressing times, but there is always hope. ("Where there's life...")

I don't know what I can say if Beethoven isn't working, but in my thoughts there is sunshine on your shoulders.

Hi Heather, I hope all is well and that you're laughing again.

Hi Susan, I have hope. I just hear daily from clients who are convinced that Armageddon is upon us, which is a pretty good indication that we may be close to the end. What gets me is the feeling that Congress is acting like Nero fiddling. One minute, the cavalry is riding to the rescue, the next minute, there is no deal. People don't seem to understand, it's the whole financial system that's at stake. But I will admit, Beethoven's Fifth always gets me.

Hi Little Sis (Brain Surgeon or BS), next year, I'm cooking, the other sister is mixing drinks, and there will be lots of chocolate everywhere!

Hi Sis, thank you, I'm planning next year's party. Put it on your calendar now.
