Some New Business

When one runs a far-flung empire like The Morning Meeting, one gets to meet some really wonderful people in some far away (from where I live) places with enormous talent. I made it a point to share these resources with you. First, you all know Amytree of The Expatriotic Expatriate who has just rented a house in the English Countryside, where peace and gentility reigns supreme.

Amy decided to make maximum use of her excessive fashion and seamstress skills and she opened her own shop making 'sexy things'. Do make sure you stop by nineStitches and also, tell your friends about it. What with Fedex today, The Atlantic becomes a puddle.

Amy also mentioned this site, The Overnight Editor and this particular post, which I found hilarious. I hope you do too.

Last, but certainly not least, is a charming woman from France. Mouse writes the FVH Kitchen from a small town in France. she is English and speaks French. She's another Ali. She's also another foodie, just like Ali, and an excellent writer.

There you have it, a few excellent places to visit and really enjoy yourself. Have a great day, and we'll see you soon!

You sweet thing! Thank you for the mention - I am flattered to have caught your attention. (Peace and gentility indeed! I'm off to a tea dance now...:-) )

I'm hoping she needs a muse, or even a model...

Amy, who was the model in the new blog? You?

Puss, I thought you already had that relationship with her?

Oh kids, if that was me there would be a whole portfolio of sultryness and I would never shut up about it!

She is some lovely anonymous lady with very, very nice lines...

Puss - I am planning to have a gallery one day, so if, as a happy client, you feel the urge to pose for me, I would be thrilled to have you!
