The Bastards Want To Kill Cats
Once again, one of Heart's kids is involved in rescuing some animals. This time, it's the feral cats at JFK airport. You can get the full story over at Heart's blog, including what you can do to help should you choose. I am personally asking for your help. You know that I have had cats for years. I also don't like killing living things, animals, people, whatever. Heart's post is called S.O.S. I appreciate your help! Thank you so much, regardless of where you live.

Hmmm....I got caught in the middle of their protest the other day...I talked to some of the people and they have a good point.

M@, some of them cheered for the Red Sox too, all the way from JFK. Cats are good. Evidently better than some of the Management of JFK and the Port Authority.
Monty, you are a very dear man and I thank you so much, as do all the furry creatures we are able to save from this feline Holocaust.
You would think that with all the very real security issues at our major airports, they would concentrate their energies on that instead of on killing helpless animals that do no harm and that probably do actual good.
The longer I live, the more I believe that we are a species with very little heart.
Susan, it will be a miserable day when I can't take a few minutes to stand up for animals, particularly animals I adore. You need not thank me, I thank you for the effort you put into writing the post you did.
I included Senator Shumer and Clinton of New York, my two Senators from Maryland,the White House, and the FAA, which oversees the air traffic control and runs some airports entirely, although not JFK.
I guess I'm actually pretty angry, but I'm trying to act like a grown-up. More than the idiot that dreamed this one up. I'm keeping this up at least another day, for the cats!

Ummm....don't read my latest. I had to kill a mouse. I know, it's furry and cute but I had no choice. I'm not dying for a mouse or risking this house of memories burning down because of it.
EM, didn't Teddy chase the mouse down? Or did Teddy just want to play with it until it dropped over?
It always perplexes me how man believes he has a right to decree where other creatures shall live.
